 Hardwood Lumber: FSC Certified Hardwood LumberSince 2005 Royal Plywood has been distributing hardwood lumber products that are chain of custody certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) to meet FSC Standards. Hardwood lumber is cut from deciduous timbers. Hardwood lumber is most frequently used in the manufacturing of furniture, casework, and decorative mouldings. Royal Plywood carries a variety of hardwood lumber ranging from decorative premium grades to common industrial grades. Royal Plywood has the ability to provide value added milling services as well as custom milling. Royal Plywood stocks a large inventory of domestic and import FSC Certified hardwood lumber. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an independent, not-for-profit organization with a diverse membership representing environmental, business, and social interests globally. Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), one of the primary certifying organizations for FSC, has evaluated and certified that Royal Plywood meets all the requirements of a chain of custody certified distributor. This directly supports international environmental standards through appropriate conservation of the forest's economic and environmental resources.
