Fire Treated: Plywood Description of item:We treat our plywood with a Class 1 Type A interior fire retardant. It has been recommended for structural applications such as plywood roof sheathing,mezzanines, shelving, wall sheathing, facade’s, load bearing walls, floor sheathing, partitions walls and many other interior applications. It meets the flame spread requirement of all building codes, with a flame spread rating of 25 or less. It also meets the AWPA UCFA(C-20) standards, City of Los Angeles Building Code, Military Specification MIL-L-19140-E, and is UL approved. Exterior fire treatment is also available upon request. Be sure and contact us regarding any of your LEED projects. Our fire treated plywood is available in FSC and is NAUF.
