Concrete Form: PSF and Alkali Resistant

Concrete Form: PSF and Alkali Resistant
Concrete Form: PSF and Alkali Resistant
Description of item:
PSF panels use a Phenolic Surface Film that is thermally bonded to both faces of the plywood. The quality of PSF panels vary in range from a high quality all Birch panel to a medium grade domestic Fir panel with hardwood faces, to a low grade Poplar panel. Hardwood and Fir panels will give you greater longevity, durability, and stability than will the lower grade panels such as Poplar. These panels are designed to give you a high to medium gloss finish on the concrete.

Alkali Resistant panels are manufactured with a new innovative non-porous paper overlay impregnated with a cross linked resin system designed for increased chemical resistance and to provide superior panel protection and durability. Alkali Resistant panels are more durable than MDO or HDO panels and are designed to give a smooth architectural finish with minimal grain transfer. These specialized panels are often referred to as Concrete Barrier or PH panels.
