Plastics: King StarBoard ST®
Royal Plywood has teamed up with King Starboard to bring a new innovative product to the west coast. We are excited to introduce this high density polyethylene product to you and your customers. King StarBoard® ST is a special, high-density polyethylene sheet that provides a scratch-resistant surface for many applications. A unique and advanced polymer gives King StarBoard® ST superior strength. Its exceptional strength and stiffness make it desirable for applications where less structural support is available. High scratch-resistance makes it especially appropriate in the construction of cabinets and furniture. King StarBoard® ST is environmentally stabilized and has been developed to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions. It can be used in places that are regularly exposed to moisture; such as an outdoor application where cleaning with water is a necessity (barbeques, outdoor kitchens, outdoor signs, etc.). It will not rot, warp, discolor or delaminate and it never needs painting or refinishing. It can be fabricated using common woodworking tools and techniques. King StarBoard® ST is made entirely from FDA and USDA approved materials. This makes it an excellent material for areas where food is served or prepared. Products: King StarBoard® ST is stocked in: Thickness: 1/4", 1/2" & 3/4" Width & length: 48” x 96” Colors: white, seafoam, sunshade, dolphin gray, mocha brown and black   King StarBoard®ST with King MicroShield™ is a high-strength, scratch-resistant polymer building sheet with hundreds of uses in sanitary or sterile environments. The sheets have integrated antimicrobial properties to inhibit the growth of product-damaging microorganisms, including bacteria, algae and fungi on the surface. King MicroShield helps products stay cleaner between cleanings and inhibits the growth of product-damaging microorganisms, including bacteria, algae and fungi on the surface.Several key features of King MicroShield: -Antimicrobial agent is active for the life of the product. It is safe and non-toxic. Non-hazardous to ship and handle. -Antimicrobial agent is EPA-registered and listed with the FDA as a modifier to medical devices. -Easy to clean, disinfect and keep hygienic using standard cleaning procedures.
